arlier this week, the Detroit Lions released quarterback Tim Boyle 

as one of the cuts to bring him to the 53-man roster.

Boyle, former backup of the Green Bay Packers, appeared in five games for the Lions in 2021.

He passed for 526 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions and failed to win a game.

On Wednesday morning, the team reportedly released Blow as well.

"Unfortunate end to a good 'Hard Knox' story: The Lions are forgiving QB David Blow,

per source," said NFL Network insider Tom Pelicero.

Through three seasons in Detroit, Blow had 1,033 yards,

four touchdowns, and seven interceptions for a 0–5 opening record.
