Braves outfielder Marcel Ozuna was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
This was the second arrest for Ozuna in as many years. them May 29,
2021 was arrested on charges of aggravated assault by strangulation and battery,
When the police said that they saw him attacking his wife.
Those charges were dropped after completing a pretrial diversion program.
After being arrested by a Norcross police officer in Metro Atlanta
Now Ozuna is facing more legal problems.
He was held at the Gwinnett County Jail around 4.30 a.m. Friday.
He was charged with DUI and lane maintaining and was released on $1,830 bond.
Ozuna's status for Friday night's game against the Houston Astros was not known.
Ozuna, 31, is in his third season in Atlanta. He is in the second year of a four-year $65 million contract.
He hit .338 and led the National League in 2020 with 18 home runs and 56 RBIs.
