It has been a rough road so far for Denzel Mims, the third-year receiver in the NFL,

who was selected by the New York Jets in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft?

Injuries and inconsistent play have hampered Mims in his youth career so far,

Mims had recorded 133 receiving yards in 11 games for the Jets only a year earlier.

But he exploded for nearly 102 yards in Sunday's game for

seven receptions. This included an impressive 29-yard

touchdown catch from backup quarterback Chris Streweler.
