The Cleveland Browns released a member of the defense on Wednesday 

after former Vikings quarterback, Kellen Mondt claimed an exemption.

Team released defensive end, Isaac Rochelle, in the same move.

Rochelle was signed by the Browns this spring after spending a year with the Colts.

The former Notre Dame seventh-round pick out saw action

in 12 games last season, recording 17 tackles and three QB hits.

Mond is currently the third quarterback behind Jacobi Brissette

and Josh Dobbs, while Deshan Watson serves an 11-game suspension.

Brown also signed 12 players in his practice squad.
