The Boston Celtics got some disappointing news on Friday

with the revelation that Danilo Gallinari's torn meniscus

is actually a tear to the same ACL he tore nine years ago.

This summer, the Celtics haven't made major changes to their roster,

that hasn't stopped general manager Brad Stevens from still

making some impressive additions to the team's bench.

Boston also signed fourteen-year veteran Gallinari,

with a surprise trade swinging for Indiana Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon.

News came last week that the organization's free agent takeover would,

unfortunately, miss a good time after suffering a meniscus tear

while playing for Italy in a FIBA World Cup qualifying game.
