The Dallas Cowboys suffered a major setback when Tyrone Smith
suffered a serious knee injury during practice last week,
and they are still looking for ways to replace him.
Jason Peters appears to be on the list of candidates.
As ESPN's Todd Archer reports, Peters is about to travel with the Cowboys.
Peters appeared in 15 matches for the Chicago Bears last season.
The 40-year-old previously spent 12 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles
and was consistently one of the best offensive linemen
in the NFL. He made the Pro Bowl every season
from 2013-2016 and was named a Pro Bowler nine times.
