The Cowboys have a very limited time to find Tyrone Smith.
Their financial condition can make the business viable on paper.
Smith is expected to be sidelined until at least December
due to a knee avulsion fracture and subsequent hamstring tear.
The Cowboys will not execute a trade for a stop-gap solution,
with Pro Football Network's Aaron Wilson tweeting that the Texans are not expected
to make Laremy Tunsil available to Dallas (or any other club).
The two-time pro bowler has two years left on his contract,
which includes a $17.7M cap hit given the Cowboys' current financial situation.
Wilson cites the dead cap charge (over 16.6M) that would be generated
by trade as unlikely as such a move at Houston's end.
