There are only two weeks left before the 2022 NFL regular season and
it looks like the Miami Dolphins are eyeing the two-time Super
Bowl champion to shore up their defense for the upcoming season.
Miami is working on former New England Patriots linebacker
Trey Flowers on Wednesday, according to NFL insider Tom Pelicero.
Flowers was once a vital part of the Patriot's defense,
but his NFL career has recently seen an unfortunate turn. He was released by
the Detroit Lions in 2019 after signing a massive five-year, $90 million deal with Detroit.
Miami has been a middle-of-the-pack defense over the past few seasons,
and a player like Flowers, who played a role on a championship team in New England.
