Hyatt and Memphis native McDonald led the Volunteers' offensive

charge in the opening possession of the contest. On the first play of the contest,

McDonald stunned the Tennessee defense with an interception.

In Tennessee's first offensive game of the competition,

Hyatt was waiting in the wings for his chance, and he got it 

when he caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Hendon Hooker.
