A high school in Pennsylvania has canceled its football

season following a series of accidents involving the team.

Middletown Area School District Superintendent Dr. Chelton Hunter

sent a letter to parents about a "disturbing

and disturbing" video that surfaced earlier this month.

All the players identified in the video were dropped

from the team and head coach Scott Acrie resigned.

Two days later, after receiving additional video from a

different incident, Hunter sent another letter on Wednesday.

"Unfortunately, this video shows that this haze was far more widespread,

and involved many more students than we previously knew," Hunter wrote. "In light of this,

we have made the decision to cancel the 2022 football season.
