The Kansas City Chiefs selected a player from

Toledo in the 2017 draught by the name of Kareem Hunt.

During his debut season, he was the league's top running back,

solidifying his position as NFL's top running back.

Isiah Pacheco, a running back the Chiefs selected with the

No. 251 overall choice this spring, has drawn similarities to Hunt.

The 7th-round pick out of Rutgers had a lot of

good athletic skills, but he needed to grow as a running back.

When Pacheco was selected, he went into the running back room with Ronald Jones,

who had just been signed, and former 1st-round pick Clyde Edwards-Heller.

When Jerich McKinnon was reinstated, the rookie's status on the roster was no longer assured.
