Justin Jackson Walks Back Making Case to Earn Roster Spot

Justin Jackson has got a chance to make it to the last 53-man roster of the Lions.

Running back, Justin Jackson has learned how to go with the flow

and has had a solid first training camp with the Detroit Lions.

After a wideout with Corey Sutton suddenly retiring early in the camp,

Lions front office filled the additional roster spot with the signing of

the ex-Chargers running back. Jackson played the last four seasons in Los Angeles,

where he scored 1,040 yards and four touchdowns in 43 appearances.

Against the Indianapolis Colts last week, Jackson made the most of his chances,

as D'Andre Swift and Jamal Williams were to no avail.

The trailing veteran gained 54 yards on seven carries and was even a scalper for 21 yards.
