The chiefs are releasing Gordon, according to NFL Network's league insider Tom Pelicero.
However, that doesn't mean that Gordon's time with the team is completely over.
Chiefs were Gordon's 4th NFL team after several stints with other teams
due to Gordon's failure to comply with the league's drug policy.
Gordon played seven seasons with the Browns, leading the league
in receiving yards while earning Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors in 2013.
Following his time with the Browns, Gordon began the 2018 season
and 2019 season with the New England Patriots before he was pardoned due to injuries.
He signed with Seahawks in 2019 and played one game with the team
before violating the league's drug policy for the fifth time in his career.
