LSU will begin its 2022 season tonight against

Florida State with a new quarterback in control.

Miles Brennan, who was competing for the position earlier in the summer,

announced his retirement from football in August.

Daniels brings enough experience to the table for the Tigers.

He was a multi-year starter in his time at Tempe ASU,

banking 6,025 passing yards, 32 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

Daniels also ran for 1,288 yards and 13 scores. In 2021,

he racked up 3,000 yards of offense and a total of 16 touchdowns.
