Former NFL MVP Rich Gannon drew a favorable comparison between

Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson and the greatest receiver in history.

"Jerry Rice, even in his heyday, didn't have this top-end pace,

but I think there are some comparisons with a guy like Jerry Rice,

Gannon said of Jefferson. Gannon and Rice led the Raiders

to Super Bowl XXXVII, eventually losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was the most celebrated year of the quarterback's career.

Considered one of the greatest football players of all time,

Rice continues to lead the record book NFL.

Gannon noted that Jefferson increased his strengths and

minimized his weaknesses, Gannon also admired Jefferson's

strong hands and ability to detach quickly from a defender.
