The NFL World is heartbroken by the passing of a beloved Miami Dolphins executive.
On Saturday night, the Dolphins announced that longtime team
VP Jason Jenkins had died suddenly at the age of 47.
"Our hearts are broken and we are saddened by the loss of a man
who was a dear friend and a favorite of so many," said Garfinkel,
Dolphins' vice president, president and chief executive officer.
"Jason served the Dolphins organization faithfully for 14 years,
he was always a pioneer and champion for others, and above all, treated people
with kindness and respect, and one that left a lasting impression on everyone
It is a great loss to the Dolphins and to the NFL world as a whole.
