No NFL team is as dependent on its No. 1 as the Tennessee Titans do with Derrick Henry.
Now, his contract for the 2022 season will better reflect this.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the Titans have reneged on Henry's deal.
Because Henry's contract will still expire after the 2023 season.
But now, Henry will make $14 million in 2022, more than any return to the league.
Henry is a complete worker for Tennessee. While 2021 was battling a major injury,
he showed no signs of slowing down before that. In fact, he was as fast as ever.
Henry enjoyed one of the best rushing seasons in NFL history.
thereby leading the league in all three categories.
