The Athletic claims that the major component of the NASCAR Silly Season is ready to crumble.

According to the source, Noah Gragson's deal with JR Motorsports is being finalized by Petty GMS Motorsports.

The information was revealed in an essay by Jordan Bianchi that addressed the biggest Silly Season mysteries.

Petty GMS Motorsports is "working toward concluding a contract," he continued.

In the 2023 season, Gragson would drive the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro.

"A formal statement is expected shortly," Bianchi continued.

From July 15, there are inquiries regarding the Chevrolet Camaro with the number 42. GMS Motorsports,

Ty Dillon and Petty, announced they would part ways after the conclusion of the 2022 campaign.
