The Kansas City Chiefs have until Tuesday to make their final cut to the 53-man roster.
For this, they are releasing one of their quarterbacks before the deadline.
On Saturday, the Chiefs announced they were pardoning and releasing five players.
Among those pardoned was rookie quarterback Dustin Crum.
The Chiefs signed Crum as a free agent out of Kent State after 2022
NFL Draft. He was fresh from a historic season with the Golden Flashes,
breaking the school record for yards and earning Mack MVP honors.
Crum's strong season invited him to the NFL Scouting Combine,
The players exempted include Tyn Fleet-Davis, wide receiver Aaron Parker
and linebacker Mike Rose. The team also issued offensive tackle Roderick.
