In time for a fork-in-the-road season, New York’s big-name running back

is showing consistent burst and acceleration once again.

One of the NFL's major franchises is now on its fifth head coach

in eight seasons and third general manager in six seasons.

And yet, this year feels different, as in the end,

ownership (maybe for the first time… ever?) cleared the slate

and didn't delve back into its past to find people to run its football operation.

The Mara family has also allowed new coach Brian Daboll

and general manager Joe Schon to build from scratch.
