Soon after the start of the second half on Thursday night at Purdue,
Penn State quarterback Clifford could be seen jogging in locker room.
After being named the backup quarterback by head coach James Franklin
earlier in the week, freshman Drew Aller was seen warming up on the sidelines.
In the first half, Clifford received a low blow to
the left foot from a Purdue personal foul penalty.
To end the drive, Clifford, who was still in the game,
was going for a three-yard rushing touchdown. Brenton Strange
caught a 67-yard touchdown catch from Clifford to conclude the first half.
