After attempting to trade punter Braden Mann this offseason, the Jets decided to waive him.

On Friday, ESPN's Field Yates announced that Mann was claimed off waivers by the Steelers.

Mann was selected by the Jets in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

while the percentage of punts placed inside the 20-yard line slightly dipped.

It's possible the Steelers host a position battle in training camp between Mann and Harvin.
